WINNERS OF THE 1993 BEST RANGERS COMPETITION

Once a year the Rangers get together for a little R & R out in the country.  For 72 straight hours they participate in relaxing events like Army Physical Fitness Tests, Ranger stakes, Prusik climbs and set-hip rappelling, canoe racing, 20-mile night marches, two-mile runs, helocast swims, airborne operations, and other enjoyable activities.  In short, the weak or fainthearted need not apply.  And they do all this to determine who the best of the best are.

This year's winning team is Captain Blain A. reeves and Staff Sergeant Erik L. Wilson.  Congratulations from the DuPont Kevlar Team.  We are proud to play an important role in protecting the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and we're proud to be a part of your team.  To everyone who participated, congratulations!
