What is adventure racing: "It’s been billed as the hardest sport on earth, where it takes competitors through the most extreme terrain imaginable and pushes them against what Mother Nature has to offer over a 350-400 mile course. It would be typically mountain biking, horseback riding at times, white water rafting, ocean kayaking, glacier traversing, mountaineering, riding camels, skydiving, scuba diving, canyoneering.

Most recent expedition: The Southern Traverse in New Zealand.

Best Finish: "This past June I did a race called the Beast of the East. It was in Virginia in the Allegheny Mountains. I came in fourth overall and first in the solo division."
